From Silence to Story: The Beginning of Whispers in the Wilderness

Some stories aren’t told — they’re carried. For years. Sometimes in silence. Sometimes in survival.

That’s how this one began.

I didn’t set out to write a book. I set out to breathe. To sort through the pieces of a wilderness I had walked — and some days, barely crawled through. I found myself writing about a woman named Terrica. And as the pages filled, I realized… she wasn’t just a character. She was my shadow. My echo. My confession.

No, not everything in this story happened to me.
But it all came from me.

Her heartbreak? I’ve tasted it.
Her silence? I’ve lived in it.
Her questions? They’ve been mine, whispered into the dark.

And so, I wrote. Not a how-to. Not a perfect devotional plan. Just a story — stitched together from the sacred and the shattered — for women who know what it means to wait, weep, and wonder where God went.

The book is called Whispers in the Wilderness. And it’s coming.

If you’ve ever felt like you were doing everything right, and still ended up broken…
If you’ve ever begged God to speak and heard nothing…
If you’ve ever risen in strength and fallen in silence…

This story is for you.

I’ll be sharing more soon. But for now, I just wanted you to know this:
What you’re reading here on The Reality of Ree — this is real. It’s sacred. And it’s the beginning of something that’s been growing in me for years.

Thank you for being here. For listening to the whispers. For walking with me through the wilderness.

Ree
